None. <br />COMMITTEE COMMENTS <br />Ms. Piekarski would like to add a project priorities list to the agenda. <br />Mr. McGinnis shared his experience in Hilversum, Netherlands, a town with similar <br />demographics and population as Pleasanton and due to a large cycling community has <br />helped create a vibrant downtown since restricting vehicle traffic. He wants to see <br />Pleasanton to get ahead of the curve. <br />Chairperson Bowers stated he would be open to adding Foothill Road (Merritt Property) <br />to the next meeting the agenda. <br />STAFF COMMENTS <br />Mr. Nelson shared that Toole Design Group is currently working on a pilot E -scooter <br />policy for the City. He will bring that data to the BPTC for review and comment when it is <br />available. <br />Mr. Nelson informed the Committee he will be seeking two members to assist with the <br />BART audit regarding gap closures within a half -mile radius of the two stations. <br />Chairperson Bowers and Ms. Piekarski volunteered to participate. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Chairperson Bowers adjourned the meeting at 8:28 p.m. <br />Bicycle, Pedestrian & Trails Committee Minutes January 28, 2019 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />
