Commissioner Wheeler concurred that the Amador Theater was a pressing issue and <br /> commented on Division Street needing lights in order to bring the Firehouse Arts Center into <br /> the downtown area. <br /> Commissioner Casey agreed and thought the Amador Theater priority should be first and the <br /> Division Street improvements number two. He felt he needed more information about what <br /> was needed to be done for a Culture Art Walk project. <br /> Commissioner Morales confirmed that her number one priority was the Amador Theater <br /> Facility Assessment because of the number of events that take place there both for the City <br /> and the Pleasanton Unified School District. <br /> Commissioner Farley-Rodgers concurred that the Amador Theater should be made the <br /> Commissions number one priority. <br /> Chairperson Pellegrino agreed with all Commissioners' comments for moving the Amador <br /> Theater to the number one priority for the Civic Arts Commission and commented on youth <br /> programs that are tied to use of this facility. She questioned whether members of the <br /> Commission had any other priorities they would like to add to the list. None were received. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Wedge-Bonde, seconded by Commissioner Jellison, <br /> recommending the following Civic Arts related priorities in order of priority for inclusion in the <br /> 2019-2020 Two-Year Work Plan Prioritization for City Council's consideration: <br /> 1. Review of FY 2017/2018 Civic Arts Grants — Final Performance Reports <br /> Mr. Patrick reviewed with the Commission the Final Performance Reports for the FY 2017/18 <br /> Civic Arts Grants. He advised that with the exception of Tri-Valley YMCA all agencies had <br /> utilized all of their grant funding allocations and all but two of the agencies had submitted their <br /> reports on time. Commissioners were informed that the Tri-Valley YMCA unused grant funds <br /> in the amount of $4,402.00 would be carried over to the next grant cycle. <br /> Chairperson Pellegrino discussed with Mr. Patrick the correct time and format for the <br /> Commission to discuss the comments made earlier in the meeting by Mr. Kohl.
