PROPOSED PROJECT <br /> Based on Chabad of the Tri-Valley's application materials, the proposed uses and <br /> activities are summarized below: <br /> • Operation includes: <br /> o Synagogue services and related activities/administration <br /> o Childcare/preschool <br /> o Miscellaneous events (e.g., weddings, community assembly) <br /> • Building and Site Improvements include: <br /> o Tenant improvements <br /> o Install two new windows on the north side of the existing building <br /> o Construct a playground and an outdoor terrace area on the west side of <br /> the existing building <br /> o Install landscaping <br /> • Existing parking lot shared with St. Clare's Episcopal Church <br /> ■ Miscellaneous indoor events — 50-120 people. <br /> • Childcare Facility/Preschool (operated by the Chabad): <br /> o 18 months - four years old; <br /> o 48 students; 6-8 staff <br /> o Monday— Friday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. <br /> • Preschool Playground (Outdoor): 24 children at one time: <br /> o Monday— Friday: 10:30-11:15 a.m. <br /> 11:15 a.m.-noon <br /> 3-4 p.m. <br /> • Other Outdoor Activities - 50-120 people: <br /> o Up to 15 events annually <br /> o All activities to occur in the outdoor terrace located to the west of the <br /> building. <br /> o All activities to conclude by 10 p.m. <br /> No outdoor activities are proposed anywhere on the project site other than in <br /> the playground area and in the outdoor terrace area. <br /> The Chabad has agreed to relocate the preschool playground from the north side of the <br /> existing building to the west side of the existing building.
