In general, the current sized raised garden plots are oversized and most <br /> user can get by with raised garden plots half the size. <br /> • Take steps to assure that the raised garden plots in the Garden Patch accommodate the <br /> disabled and seniors who may have problems with raised garden plots that are too close to <br /> the ground. She encourages the services of an accessibility consultant regarding this matter. <br /> • Seek cooperation with the local Boy Scouts to assist with bed construction and maintenance. <br /> • Consider a gate at the entrance of the parking lots so that the entire park can be secure <br /> during off hours. <br /> Commissioner Fields <br /> • Recommends that Phase One include construction of both Sub-Area 7 parking lots and as <br /> much infrastructure as possible and practical. <br /> • Evaluate the need for fencing Sub-Area 16 along the trail. <br /> • Conduct a fire safety evaluation plan for Sub-Area 16 to assure adequate vehicle and <br /> equipment access. <br /> • Continue to evaluate the availability of various types of water, including water from the <br /> Valley Avenue run-off pond. <br />
