shall be painted red with "No Parking, Fire Lane, Tow Away Zone" or "No <br />Parking, Fire Lane, Tow Away Zone" signs shall be installed as required by the <br />Vehicle Code. <br />63. The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of <br />lumber construction until the final inspection. <br />64. Prior to any construction framing, the project developer shall provide adequate <br />fire protection facilities, including, but not limited to, surface roads, fire hydrants, <br />and a water supply and water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department <br />Standards able to suppress a major fire. When alternate methods of fire <br />protection are approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or <br />modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted in <br />writing to the Fire Chief prior to any framing construction. Work on the alternative <br />fire protection methods shall not begin until approved by the Fire Chief. <br />65. The Fire Chief and the City Engineer shall approve the number, type, and <br />location of all public fire hydrants. <br />66. All curbs located within a seven foot, six inch (7'6") radius of a public/private fire <br />hydrant shall be painted red, unless, modified by the Fire Chief. Blue street <br />"hydrant markers" shall be installed for all fire hydrants per City of Pleasanton <br />Standard Specifications. <br />67. The project developer shall post address numerals on the buildings so as to be <br />plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and <br />night time hours. <br />Engineering Requirements <br />68. The typical street sections A -A, B -B, C -C, and D -D shall be revised as follows: <br />a. The street width shall be measured from the flowline of the gutter. <br />b. The slope behind the curb and or sidewalk (whichever is applicable) shall <br />be graded at two percent for the first five feet and 3:1 maximum to the <br />pad. <br />C. There shall be subdrain located under the curb and gutter per City <br />standards. <br />d. There shall be an eight -foot wide Public Service Easements (PSE) on both <br />sides of the street. <br />e. The rolled curb shall conform to City Standard Detail 105 (three-foot wide <br />rolled curb, five -inches tall). <br />f. The sidewalk width on street section C -C shall be increased to seven feet <br />to accommodate vehicle overhang. <br />12 <br />
