The specific site context and conditions will also be <br /> reviewed in conjunction with these Design Guidelines. Through the implementation of <br /> these Design Guidelines, the vision for the Economic Development Zone includes: <br /> • Creating a redevelopment area that provides business opportunities and <br /> employment. <br /> • Ensuring development consistency throughout the project area. <br /> • Encouraging visual continuity of the architecture in terms of mass, scale, materials, <br /> and color relative to adjacent development. <br /> • Achieving interesting, high-quality architectural design for all development, including <br /> large format retail buildings. <br /> • Enhancing landscaping, public open space, and environmental performance. <br />
