~2-18.43 Scope and Application of Chapter Provisions. <br /> <br /> (a) With the exception of Article 3 hereof, no <br /> <br /> provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to require a change <br /> in any portion of a swimming pool system or any other work <br /> regulated by this chapter in or on an existing swimming pool, <br /> when such work was installed in accordance with the law prior <br /> to the effective date of this chapter, except when any swimming <br /> pool system or work regulated by this chapter is determined by <br /> the administrative authority to be in fact dangerous, unsafe, <br /> and a menace to life, health, or property. <br /> <br /> (b) The provisions of this chapter shall apply to <br /> all new construction and to any alterations, repairs, or <br /> reconstruction, except as provided in this chapter. <br /> <br /> (c) All work performed in the construction of a <br /> pool shall comply with the provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br /> ~2-18.44 Repairs and Alterations. <br /> <br /> On existing premiseson which swimming pool installations <br />~iare to be altered, repaired, or renovated, deviations from the <br /> <br /> provisions of this chapter are permitted provided such deviations <br /> are found to be necessary and are first approved by the admin- <br /> istrative authority. <br /> <br /> ~2-t8.45 Violations. <br /> <br /> Any person firm or corporation violating any of the <br /> provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misde- <br /> meanor. <br /> <br /> <br />
