62-18.35 Plans and Specifications. <br /> <br /> (a) The Administrative authority may require the <br /> <br /> submission of plans ~ specifications, drawings, and such other <br /> <br /> information as he may deem necessary, prior to the commencement <br /> <br /> of, and at any time during the progress of any work regulated <br /> <br /> by this chapter. <br /> <br /> (b) All design, construction, and workmanship shall <br /> <br /> be in conformity with accepted engineering practices and shall <br /> <br /> be of such character as to secure the results sought to be <br /> <br /> obtained by this chapter. The administrative authority shall <br /> <br /> require that plans, specifications, and drawings be prepared and <br /> <br /> certified by a registered professional engineer of the appro- <br /> priate discipline~ i.e., for the pool structure, a registered <br /> civil or structural engineer and for the mechanical system, a <br /> registered civil or mechanical engineer. Master plans may be <br /> submitted in fulfillment of this paragraph. <br /> <br /> (c) It shall be the responsibility of the permittee <br /> to obtain and furnish a letter from the responsible registered <br /> engineer certifying that the structural designs are suitable <br /> for the conditions actually encountered on the site. <br /> <br /> (d) When the permittee desires~ he may use the <br /> manufacturer's standard structural and mechanical details for <br /> portable pools erected on the surface of the ground. <br /> <br /> (e) The entire design of matched components shall <br />~have sufficient capacity to provide a complete turnover of <br /> <br /> pool water in twelve (12) hours or less. <br /> <br /> 62-18.36 Permit Required <br /> <br /> No swimming pool installation, alteration, or repair <br /> <br /> work shall be commenced until a permit to do such work first <br /> <br /> shall have been obtained from the administrative authority. <br /> <br /> <br />
