CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 655 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF <br /> CHAPTER 11, REGULATING THE INSTALLATION AND KEEPING <br /> OF SWIMMING POOLS <br />! THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is <br />]hereby amended by the addition thereto of Chapter 11, said Chapter <br /> <br /> as added to provide as follows: <br /> <br /> "Chapter II <br /> SWIMMING POOLS <br /> <br /> ~2-18.30 GENERAL: The provisions of this chapter are intended <br />!! to regulate the installation of swimming pools <br />[! within the City of Pleasanton and to supplement <br /> rather than supplant other provisions of this <br /> Code relating to swimming pools. Where appro- <br /> priate as determined by the Administrative <br /> Authority the provisions of Chapters 3, 5, 6 and <br />ii 7 of this Title relating to the Uniform Building, <br /> Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical Codes re- <br /> spectively shall apply. In the event of <br /> conflict between the provisions of this chapter <br /> and other provisions of this Code those provi- <br /> <br />Ii sions most restrictive shall control. <br />ii Article 1 <br />: Administration <br />ii §2-18.34 Administrative Authority. Whenever the term "admin- <br /> istrative authority" is used in this Code, it <br /> shall be construed to mean the Director of <br /> <br /> Community Development or his authorized repre- <br />!, <br /> <br /> sentatives. <br /> <br /> <br />
