<br />c. in the event the assessment mechanism appears to impose economically in- <br />feasible levels of costs upon the site, the City agrees to explore alternative fi- <br />nancing methods. <br /> <br />This agreement shall apply to any alternate City program designed to mitigate <br />long-term traffic levels-of-service on north Pleasanton freeway interchanges, <br />streets, and/or intersections with/without the I -680/W est Las Positas Interchange. <br />Additionally, the project developer/property owner acknowledges that: <br /> <br />d. The City of Pleasanton does not guarantee that existing Level-of-Service <br />(LOS) standards will be maintained in perpetuity and that no guarantee is <br />made by the City that it will be responsible for keeping north Pleasanton <br />streets, intersections, and freeway entrance/exit ramps at LOS "D" or better. <br /> <br />e. If required by the City, the developer shall implement a proactive Transpor- <br />tation Systems Management program or other measures required by the City <br />Council to mitigate this project's anticipated traffic impacts. <br /> <br />17. The project developer shall contribute its pro-rata share of the costs associated <br />with the construction of public street improvements benefiting the Stoneridge Mall <br />area: Foothill RoadlDublin Canyon Road/Canyon Way Intersection, southbound <br />I-680 exit ramp to Stoneridge Mall Road, Stoneridge Mall Road/Stoneridge Drive <br />intersection, southbound 1-680 off-ramp to Stoneridge Drive, widening Canyon <br />Way from Stoneridge Mall Road to Foothill Road, and installation of a traffic sig- <br />nal at the Stoneridge Mall Road/Canyon Way intersection. The costs associated <br />with modifying this intersection with a free right-turn lane from Stoneridge Mall <br />Road to Canyon Way shall be the project developer's responsibility. The contribu- <br />tion shall be paid to the City before issuance of the first building permit. <br /> <br />18. With the first construction phase, the project developer shall begin construction of <br />the following public street improvements: <br /> <br />a. Stoneridge Mall Road/Canvon Way Intersection: <br />Install a three-way traffic signal. The signal shall be interlinked with the <br />Foothill RoadlDublin Canyon Road/Canyon Way intersection traffic signal. <br />Reconfigure the northwest curve-return to provide one (I) free right-turn lane <br />and one (I) through-lane on the southbound approach.
