Canvon Wav from Stoneridge Mall Road to Foothill Road: <br />Widen Canyon Way its entire length from Stoneridge Mall Road to Foothill <br />Road to provide one (I) additional westbound lane for a total of three (3) <br />westbound lanes. <br /> <br />Improvement plans shall be submitted to the Planning Director and City Engineer <br />for review and approval before issuance of the first building permit. All street im- <br />provements shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Planning Director and City <br />Engineer before occupancy ofthe Safeway building. <br /> <br />19. In order to reduce the development's evening trip generation rate from 1.54/1,000 <br />sq. ft. to 1.33/1,000 sq. ft., the project developer shall implement the following <br />measures: <br /> <br />a. A dedicated BART shuttle shall be operated between the Safeway headquar- <br />ters site and the Dublin-Pleasanton BART station. <br /> <br />b. Implement alternative transportation programs identified by the City includ- <br />ing, but not limited to, rideshare matching and subsidies/rewards, preferential <br />parking, alternative work hours, and carpooling/vanpooling and the means by <br />which these measures would be "marketed" to Safeway employees. <br /> <br />The project developer shall prepare an implementation program for these measures <br />which shall be submitted to the Planning Director for review and approval before <br />issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />Building and Site Design Requirements: <br /> <br />20. The project developer shall delete one (I) parking space from the westernmost side <br />of the trash enclosure located between the new office building and I-580. The area <br />shall be landscape with a combination of trees, shrubs, and vines matching the <br />landscape treatments used along the site's I-580 frontage. This change shall be <br />shown on the final landscape plans submitted for review and approval by the Plan- <br />ning Director and the City's Landscape Architect before issuance of a building per- <br />mit. <br /> <br />21. The project developer shall post address numerals on the building so as to be <br />plainly visible from all adjoining driveways during both daylight and night time <br />hours. <br /> <br />-- -------...--- <br />2-98-071.
