Resolution No. PC-98-29 Page 4 7. The modified development plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District. The proposed modification to the previously approved PUD development plan implements the purposes of the City's PUD Ordinance by providing a residential development consisting of interlocked, small-lot single-family homes that are well-designed and sited on the subject property, that fulfills the desires of the applicant to address a niche of the housing market, and the City's goals to provide a variety of housing types, and that meets the City's General Plan goals and policies. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building designs are attractive and well-designed and the modification to the PUD Development Plan is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVESTHEFOLLO~G: Section I. Section 2. Recommends approval of Case PUD-91-1 I-3M, the application of Standard Pacific of Northern California for a modification to an approved Planned Unit Development to replace 146 clustered, single-family detached homes with 143 "interlocking," single-family detached dwellings on an approximately 16.l-acre site located at the southeast corner of Stoneridge Drive and Trevor Parkway, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. This resolution is effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
