2.3 Create an engagement strategy to drive alignment and build relationships. Engagement <br /> Strategy will highlight project leads, partnerships (Local, Regional, State, Federal), <br /> timelines, outline communication loops,provide specific outcomes, and include analysis <br /> of how projects or initiatives align with partner agency priorities for 2017-2018 and <br /> 2018-2019 (each year of contract). <br /> 2.4 Work with identified Staff Liaisons to develop Fact Sheets for projects/initiatives. <br /> 2.5 Share Legislative Action Plan with key stakeholders: <br /> o U. S. Congress <br /> o U.S. President's Administration <br /> o California State Legislature <br /> o California Governor's Administration <br /> o Alameda County Supervisors Miley and Haggerty and relevant County <br /> Department <br /> o Contra Costa County Supervisor Burgis and relevant County Departments <br /> o Other Regional Agencies (e.g. East Bay Regional Park District) <br /> Task 2 - Deliverables <br /> • Legislative Action Plan for 2017-18 Document that includes: <br /> o Legislative Platform(2017-18 and 2018-19) <br /> o Goals and Objectives for each project or initiative (2017-18 and 2018-19) <br /> o Engagement Strategy for each project or initiative (2017-18 and 2018-19) <br /> e Fact Sheets/Informational Handouts: <br /> o Legislative Platform(2017-18 and 2018-19) <br /> o Fact Sheet for each project or initiative for each year of contract(2017-18 and <br /> 2018-19) and not to exceed 5 Fact sheets annually <br /> • Share Legislative Action Plan with key stakeholders via in person meetings, <br /> electronically, and mail. <br /> • Share with Tri-Valley Cities networks and relationships that are relevant to building and <br /> strengthening relationships is support of the Legislative Action Plan <br /> Note: Same deliverables will be provided for the 2018-19 Legislative Action Plan <br /> Task 3 - Coordinate Advocacy Trips and Meetings in Washington D.C., <br /> Sacramento, and other Regional Agencies <br /> 3.1 Conduct meeting on November 6, 2017, 2:00-4:00 p.m. in Danville, CA with Mayors <br /> and City Manager's to plan and discuss Advocacy trips and meetings for 2017 -18. <br /> Discuss goals and objectives of advocacy trips and meetings with legislators and <br /> stakeholders. At least 18 meetings will be coordinated and facilitated annually. <br /> 3.2 Coordinate and attend Washington D.C. trip for January 2018 to coincide with U.S. <br /> Conference of Mayors Conference. <br /> o Schedule meetings with legislators and relevant Agencies in Washington, D.C. <br /> o Prepare briefing materials (TVC Framework, TVC Platform, TVC Fact Sheets, <br /> Meeting Agendas, Meeting Packet, and talking points) <br /> 7jPage <br />
