P14 -1290, Douglas Harwood <br />Applications for a Certificate of Appropriateness to demolish the <br />existing single - family residence located at 363 St. Mary Street and for <br />Design Review approval to: (1) remodel the existing commercial <br />building at the front of the property; (2) construct a parking lot with <br />three parking spaces and related site improvements for the commercial <br />building; and (3) construct an approximately 4,198- square -foot two - <br />story single - family home and related site improvements at the rear of <br />the property. Zoning for the property is Central Commercial (C -C), <br />Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District. <br />Mr. Weinstein presented the staff report and described the scope, layout, and key <br />elements of the project. <br />Commissioner Piper inquired it there is a colored rendering of the commercial property. <br />Mr. Weinstein apologized that a colored rendering of the single - family residence was <br />included in the packet but not in the slide presentation. <br />Commissioner Nagler inquired if the colors are similar. <br />Mr. Weinstein replied that they are relatively similar, using a relatively subdued brown <br />color scheme with nothing bright proposed. <br />Commissioner Piper states that she is struggling with the drawings in really knowing <br />what that front commercial building is going to look like. <br />Chair Allen inquired if the applicant had one. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, May 13, 2015 Page 21 of 32 <br />
