Mr. Wallis clarified that this is actually just an ancillary electric generator and not a use
in a tenant space. She added that it would typically be electric generators for medical
uses or wireless cell towers.
Commissioner Balch commented that he can tell it will go on the southwest corner in
that little cinderblock area right next to the park and recommended that it be allowed as
a conditional rather than a permitted use.
Chair O'Connor asked staff if they got what they needed from the Commission
Mr. Dolan said yes.
No action was taken.
7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS
No discussion was held or action taken.
8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW /ACTION /INFORMATION
a. Future Planning Calendar
No discussion was held or action taken.
b. Actions of the City Council
No discussion was held or action taken.
c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator
No discussion was held or action taken.
d. Matters for Commission's Information
Masonic Lodge
Commissioner Ritter stated that he received a call from the Millers regarding the noise
at the Masonic Lodge and inquired if that matter will be coming before Commission. He
indicated that he believes other Commissioners also received a call and requested staff
to provide some direction on what to do or not to do.
Chair O'Connor commented that he thinks three of the Commissioners received calls.
Mr. Dolan replied that staff will not be putting it on the Commission's agenda and that if
any Commissioner desires to do so, he or she could make a proposal and ultimately
request that it be put on the agenda, and the majority of the Commissioners would have
to agree to agendize it.
PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, October 22, 2014 Page 28 of 30
