The depth of the pipelines in the project area will be determined to confirm that there will not be a conflict with the grading plane of the widened roadway section. Our stormwater run-off calculations and design will confirm the conveyance to and capacity of existing drain inlets. The existing drainage patterns are expected to be maintained. Drain inlets will be added, modified, or replaced as necessary to accommodate the road widening and modified curb returns. Storm water pollution prevention measures will be incorporated per Caltrans Design Pollution Prevention BMP DPP-1 checklists. The following 65% roadway plan sheets will be submitted: • Title Sheet with Location Map(1 Sheet) • Typical Sections(1 Sheet) ▪ Layouts (2 Sheets) • Construction Details(Including contour grading and pavement elevations) (2 Sheets) • Water Pollution Control Plans (2 Sheets) • Drainage and Utility Plans (including pothole data) (3 Sheets) • Signing and Striping plans (3 Sheets) • Stage Construction/Traffic Handling Plans (3 Sheets) Quincy will create the plan sheets in AutoCAD 3D 2015 format. 2.4 Prepare 65%Traffic Signal/Electrical Plans TJKM will prepare electrical plans for modification of the traffic signals at the Hopyard Rd/Owens Drive intersection, including relocation of the signal pole at the pork chop island at the SE quadrant. Bicycle detection will also be incorporated into the design. 2.5 Prepare Design Exception Fact Sheet Quincy will prepare the Design Exception Fact Sheet and submit to Caltrans for approval. It is anticipated that two submittals of the Fact Sheet will be required. 2.6 Prepare 65%Construction Estimate Quincy will prepare contract quantities and corresponding construction cost estimates and update them for each submittal. Contract quantities will be developed for each discrete item of work. Caltrans Construction Cost Database or other databases, as directed by the City,will be used to estimate item prices. Project estimates will show individual pay items, quantities,and costs as well as a project cost summary, including appropriate supplemental work items and contingencies. 2.7 Prepare Specifications To expedite Caltrans approval, Quincy will prepare project specifications in Caltrans format, in conformance with the 2015 Caltrans Standard Specifications and Standard Special Provisions.
