This meeting will establish the contact person at Caltrans for identification of required <br /> deliverables and processes for Caltrans approval <br /> 3. 65%and 95%design submittal review with City <br /> This Scope-of-Services and corresponding fee provides for up to 2 meetings with Caltrans and 3 <br /> meetings with the City. <br /> 1.4 Assist City in Preparing Exhibits(ROW,CEQA,etc.) <br /> Quincy will assist City in preparing exhibits for right-of-way, CEQA and other outreach meetings <br /> to local stakeholders as requested. It is assumed that the roadway plans will be used as the base <br /> for such exhibits and no artistic renderings or 3D graphics are required. <br /> TASK 2—Prepare Detailed Preliminary PS&E (65%Complete) <br /> 2.1 Utility Identification and Coordination (Including Pothole Allowance) <br /> Quincy will review available utility record drawings provided by City and coordinate with the <br /> appropriate private utilities (PG&E,Comcast and AT&T) regarding service impacts and possible <br /> conflicts. Quincy's preliminary review of the available utility record drawings reveals that there <br /> may be Comcast relocations and a PG&E vault adjustment. Quincy will be the City's "Point of <br /> Contact"with the utilities and all applications for service, notices of intent,etc. shall be prepared <br /> by Quincy and approved by the City prior to submittal to the respective regulatory utility or <br /> agency. Quincy will also coordinate with the appropriate agency to schedule potholing of their <br /> facilities. Quincy will retain the services of a pothole subcontractor and the City shall obtain/ <br /> issue any encroachment permits needed for the work. Quincy assumes up to eight hours of <br /> coordination will be required for each utility. <br /> 2.2 Supplemental Field Surveying <br /> Quincy will perform supplemental field survey needed for design and preparation of contract <br /> documents. The survey needs include the southeast quadrant of the Hopyard Road/Owens Drive <br /> intersection and Hopyard Rd median island south of Owens Drive. <br /> 2.3 Prepare 65% Roadway Plans <br /> Quincy will develop the Design Criteria document to summarize project design criteria,checklists, <br /> and standards design for City review and comment prior to developing the 65%. Quincy will <br /> prepare the 65% plans with geometry that has been conceptually approved by the City and <br /> Caltrans HQ Design Reviewer. <br /> The City wants to include a short sound wall between the back of curb and office building on <br /> Hopyard Rd. Caltrans standard soundwall footings will be proposed for this wall. The property <br /> owner has also requested a fence along the south edge of the property line. Quincy will present <br /> three options to the City for approval and incorporation into the plan set. A geotechnical <br /> subconsultant will be brought on at that time to provide foundation recommendations based on <br /> existing soil conditions. <br /> Drainage design is anticipated to be minimal. There are no anticipated modifications to <br /> longitudinal storm drains within the project limits and these facilities will be protected in place. <br /> The capacities of the existing storm drain lines within the project limits are and downstream are <br /> /'c:gc 4 HI 10 <br />
