Proclamation declaring June 2017 Elder Abuse Awareness Month <br /> Councilmember Pentin introduced the item and deferred to Scott Ford, Alameda County District <br /> Attorney's Office and a representative from Adult Protective Services who commented on elder <br /> abuse and thanked City Council for acknowledging Elder Abuse Awareness Month. <br /> Councilmember Pentin presented a Proclamation declaring June 2017 Elder Abuse Awareness <br /> Month. <br /> 17. Public Comment <br /> Rob Rubin reported speaking with City Council several weeks ago and distributing information <br /> regarding 5G public relations and steps for the City to take in being proactive and wondered if City <br /> representatives have had a chance to review the information. <br /> City Manager Fialho responded the legislation referenced was adopted by the State Senate and <br /> has now been referred to the Assembly.
