Arlington Drive <br />Arlington Court <br />Aumont Court <br />Hamilton Way <br />Lansing Court <br />Randall Court <br />Hanover Court <br />Report of the Planning Commission re: Approval of Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract <br />No. 2639 (Fairlands) <br />Mr. Fales read the report of the Planning Commission, dated, February llth, which, <br />while approving the Tentative Subdivision Map with certain conditions, withheld ap- <br />proval of the Sanitary sewer services, water supply and distribution system, and <br />storm drainage system pending solutions of the problems involved. <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />New Pleasanton Area General Plan; Proposed Pine Avenue Interchange with Interstate <br />Route 680 <br />Mr. Fales suggested that this matter be presented during the public hearing on the <br />New Pleasanton General Plan which is scheduled for later this evening. <br />Report to Valley Sewer Study Committee re: Proposed Study of Valley -wide Sewage <br />Treatment and Disposal <br />Mr. Fales read this report, dated February 15th. This report was presented to the <br />Valley Sewer Study Commission on February 15, 1965 as a joint report of City Manager <br />William Farness of Livermore and Mr. Fales. <br />After approving the study suggested by the report, the Sewer Study Committee referred <br />the report to the City Councils of Livermore and Pleasanton and the V.C.S.D Board <br />of Directors for the official opinions of those legislative bodies. <br />Mr. Fales explained that the study proposed by the report would involve an invest- <br />igations of the feasibility of establishing, by action of the three agencies involved <br />a joint sewage treatment and disposal program. The study would investigate the <br />engineering, financial, and organizational ramifications of such a project. Mr. <br />Fales further stated that this proposal is in keeping with previous suggestions made <br />by the City Council. <br />It was moved by Councilman Bubics and seconded by Councilman Harding that Resolution <br />No. 65 -28, declaring favorable reaction willingness to support the study and share <br />the costs on a one -third basis, as outlined in the City Managers report, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bubics, Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Cairo <br />Annexation Agreement; Annexation No. 37; "Golden Eagle Annex" <br />Mr. Fales reviewed the annexation agreement and called the Councils' attention to <br />the fact that the paragraph which modified the Bond Indebtedness obligation of the <br />property had been climinated. <br />It was moved by Councilman McWilliams and seconded by Councilman Bubics, that Res- <br />olution No. 65 -29, authorizing the City officers to execute the annexation agreement <br />for Annexation No. 37, Golden Eagle Annex, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bubics, Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long <br />NOES: Bone <br />ABSENT: Councilman Cairo <br />Progress Report Re: Fire Service to Unicorporated Area <br />Mr. Fales read a letter from Mr. Earl Augusta, Stanley Blvd. stating that action <br />has been taken with Alameda County to form ;e County Service area for Fire Protection <br />purposesin the Stanley Blvd. unincorporated area. <br />Mr. Fales read a letter from Mr. Marsh, Castlewood Country Club stating their pro- <br />gram in the formation of County services area for Fire protection purposes. Mr. <br />Fales stated that he would have a report on these matters for the Council on March 1 <br />1965. <br />1963 -64 Annual Audit <br />Mr. Fales presented the audit report, prepared by Stott and Maisel. <br />1965 Tree Removal and Replacement Program <br />Mr. Fales reviewed the th eve program and recommended authorization be granted to <br />proceed with the program as listed. <br />1.
