It was moved by ConnL.Ilman McWilliams and .iconded by Councilman Harding that Res- <br />olution No. 65 -23, setting the public hearing de on Annexation No. 34, "Berry Farm" <br />Annex for April 5, 1965 at 8 :00 P.M., be ac;optcd. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bubics, Harding, McWilliams Mayor Long <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Cairo <br />Tract No. 2711 Amador Estates; Approval of Final Subdivision Map, Subdivision Agree- <br />ment. <br />Mr. Fales stated that this map and improvement plans have been checked by the Public <br />Works Department and that the necessary payments, bonds and subdivision agreement <br />have been received. Mr. Campbell presented the final subdivision map. <br />It was moved by Councilman McWilliams and seconded by Councilman Bubics that Resolutio <br />No. 65 -24, authorizing the staff to accept the final subdivision map and execute the <br />subdivision agreement for Tract No. 2711, Amador Estates, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bubics, Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Cairo <br />Approval of Specifications and Call for Bids; 1965 Pick -up Truck (CIP 64 -13) <br />Mr. Fales read the proposed specifications for the above item. Mr. Fales stated that <br />this truck was approved in the 1964 -65 Budget as Capital Improvement Project No. 64- <br />13, with an estimated cost of $2,300.00, and will be used in the Street Maintenance, <br />Park Maintenance and Animal Regulation program. <br />The recommended bid opening date for this project is March 1, 1965, at 4 :00 P.M. <br />It was moved by Councilman Harding and seconded by Councilman Bubics that specificatic <br />on the 1965 Pick -up Truck be approved and the bids be called for to be opened on <br />March 1, 1965 at 4:00 P.M. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Bubics, Harding, McWilliams Mayor Long <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Cairo <br />Annexation Agreement Golden Eagle Annex No. 37 <br />Mr. Fales reviewed the changes in the proposed annexation agreement regarding the <br />above matter. <br />Councilman McWilliams introduced Ordinance No. 405, Golden Eagle Annex No. 37. <br />Mr. Struthers read proposed Ordinance No. 405 <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br />Mr. Fales announced that he is now in the process of filling the authorized positions <br />of Director of Finance Admin- Asst., two Firemen, three Police Clerks, and Building <br />Inspector and a Clerk- Typist. He also stated that the position of Recreation Coordin- <br />ator will be processed soon. <br />Mr... Fales announced that the Alameda County Library Advisery Committee will meet <br />on February 17th at 8:00 P.M. at the Pleasanton Library and then continue their meet- <br />ing in the City Council Chambers. Mr. Campbell was asked to present a brief report <br />to the committee regarding the location of a proposed new library building in the <br />new civic center. <br />Mr. Fales announced that the Zone No. 7 staff would like to meet with the City <br />Council and Planning Commission at 8:00 P.M.. on either February 9th, llth, or 16th <br />in order to discuss flood control matters. The Council asked Mr. Fales to advise <br />the Zone 7 staff that they can meet on February 16th at 8 :00 P.M. <br />Mr. Fales also announced that he had contacted the Zone No. 7 staff asking for time <br />on their agenda to discuss the water contract for their meeting on February 23rd at <br />9:00 P.M. and was advised that this time and date was acceptable. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Mr. Fales read a letter dated .January 29th, from Mr. J. C. Womack, State Highway <br />Engineer, thanking the city for the work in preparing the National Scenic Roads <br />Parkways report that was submitted last December. <br />
