developer impact fees to construct the trail but unfortunately keep putting the construction off which resulted in
increased costs. For many of us who did not want all the housing developed out here,we at least got an amenity of a
trail. Please do not take that away.
While we still do not know if a school will be built out here, if it should be built, you do not want cars on the trail while
students and others use the trail. That will not be safe.
Some things I would like to see:
1) As somebody who rides my bike down the trail, do not put in speed humps/lumps/bumps.
2) Do something about those who park in the traffic circle at the end of Thiesen. Some people park their cars there
and leave the car while others, usually young adults/kids, park their cars in the circle and wait for friends to
show up. Not sure why they do that but it impedes our ability to get in and out of our properties. These people
either cannot read the no parking signs or just ignore them. Possible the circle curb needs to be painted red.
3) Signage that dogs must be on a leash. People constantly have dogs off leash there and the dogs are running all
over the place, including our property, when they see squirrels and other animals. My wife does not even like
to walk on the trail in front of our house as dogs that are off-leash keep running up to her and scaring her.
Best Regards,
Steve Brozosky
2
