Proposal for Pleasanton Downtown Specific Plan Update <br /> Revised Scope and Budget—October 14, 2016 <br /> 4-E Online Engagement (D&B) The Maptionnaire site will be relaunched with new <br /> questions regarding options to consider on the following topics land use (including <br /> on major opportunity sites),building form,streetscape,and connectivity <br /> 4-F TF Meetings #5, 6,and 7 (D&B,team members as needed) In a series of up to three <br /> meetings, TF members will consider the options presented and receive feedback <br /> collected from the public, and make recommendations for what should be carried <br /> forward in the Draft Plan <br /> 4-G Planning Commission Study Session (D&B). The Planning Commission will receive <br /> feedback from the public on the options presented and provide direction for <br /> revising the Specific Plan <br /> Task 5: .:evased Specific Copan <br /> 5-A Administrative Draft Revised Downtown Specific Plan (Team) The consultant team <br /> will prepare an administrative draft of the revised Specific Plan for staff review The <br /> scope and budget assume that the structure of the Specific Plan will remain largely <br /> the same, but that each individual chapter will be revised and/or augmented to <br /> incorporate the changes expressed by the community and developed by the team <br /> The emphasis will be on creating a document that is graphically rich and uses <br /> illustrations as much as possible to communicate vision and desired outcomes In <br /> addition, for all chapters, we will clarify policy language and ensure consistency <br /> internally and with other relevant planning documents as needed To the greatest <br /> extent possible, existing policies will be retained and updated as needed, with <br /> outdated policies removed and vague ones clarified Per the RFP, 10 hard copies of <br /> the Administrative Draft will be provided The Administrative Draft will be revised <br /> following a single set of consolidated comments from City staff and revised one <br /> more time following a screencheck (see below), additional rounds of revision shall <br /> be considered out of scope and will require additional budget <br /> The following lists chapters in the current Specific Plan and describes the potential <br /> changes to be incorporated into each This is a preliminary list and will likely evolve <br /> as the project progresses <br /> 1 Introduction(D&B) General updates to reflect global changes <br /> 2 Land Use (D&B) Revised land use diagram, updated land use definitions if <br /> necessary, potential changes and illustrations of allowable development density <br /> and intensity including building heights, if pursued Infill potential for all land <br /> uses and second units will be addressed <br /> 3 Transportation (CA) Conceptual circulation plan for new development <br /> opportunity sites, connectivity to ACE train station, integration of Complete <br /> Streets CA will assist in preparation of the transportation section by providing <br /> recommendations for better connectivity throughout downtown, side streets, <br /> and to the Bernal Park Civic Center site Specifically, CA will provide <br /> 6 <br />
