Proposal for Pleasanton Downtown Specific Plan Update <br /> Revised Scope and Budget—October 14, 2016 <br /> Task 2: [Issue Ddene okat rn <br /> 2-A Kickoff Meeting with Task Force (TF) #1 (D&B). At the first TF meeting, members <br /> will be introduced to the project and the consultant team and will be asked to <br /> provide their vision and priorities for the Specific Plan revision process <br /> 2-B Project Website (D&B) D&B will design, develop and host a stand-alone website for <br /> the project with a unique URL, which can also have links to the City's main website <br /> The site will feature information/FAQs about the project, a simple schedule, notices <br /> about upcoming meetings and workshops,a library of all interim and final products, <br /> and an opportunity for people to sign up to receive email notices about the project <br /> and submit comments if so desired Comment submissions and email addresses <br /> submitted will be directed to a City email address, City staff will be responsible for <br /> compiling comments received and maintaining and utilizing the database of email <br /> addresses for notification D&B will update the website on a regular basis as new <br /> documents are produced and meetings are announced Upon conclusion of the <br /> project,all website content will be provided to the City <br /> 2-C Online Interactive Outreach (D&B) To supplement the basic project website, D&B <br /> will develop an interactive site aimed at collecting community feedback on various <br /> aspects of the project, using the tool Maptionnaire (https //maptionnaire com/) <br /> Maptionnaire allows for highly customized online engagement that is specifically <br /> designed for map- and image-based input and can be combined with typical survey <br /> questions Users can place markers on maps to indicate locations they would like to <br /> see various improvements, draw paths that show where they travel, and other <br /> similar tools Maptionnaire would be used at two phases in the process during <br /> initial issue identification (this subtask) and in Task 4,Alternatives Refinement <br /> 2-D Outreach Meetings (2) (D&B, CA, UFS) Rather than conduct a traditional large <br /> workshop, the team will conduct up to two workshop-like meetings in various <br /> venues throughout Pleasanton,with locations and audiences at Staff's choosing For <br /> example, these could be at the Pleasanton Downtown Association, at the Saturday <br /> Farmers' Market, or an open house held at a school, library, or other ongoing public <br /> event The Maptionnaire site would be advertised at these events and may be able to <br /> be provided at them as well, on tablets or similar UFS will participate in one <br /> meeting and CA will participate in one meeting <br /> 2-E "Road Show" Materials (D&B) So that staff can extend the reach of public input <br /> beyond what the consultant team can attend, D&B will provide "road show" <br /> outreach materials to staff that can be used at other events This way, input will be <br /> collected in the same format <br /> 2-F Issue Identification Summary Memorandum (D&B) D&B will review the input <br /> received through all outreach activities in this task and prepare a summary <br /> memorandum describing the main ideas, priorities, and concerns heard This <br /> 2 <br />
