We have lived in our home one block from the park at 2882 Camino Segura and have made
extensive use of that space throughout the dozen years we have lived in this home with our three children. Over the
years I have coached several of my children's sports team and have at one time or another used that space for team
meetings and /or practices. In addition, we have used the green space for numerous activities such as lunch picnics,
frisbee tossing, playing tag, hide and seek on warm nights, playing fetch with our dog or simply lying on the grass and
star gazing on summer nights. This is a true multipurpose space for families in our neighborhood. If the tennis courts
could be relocated to another area of the park that is not as frequently used - perhaps reconfiguring the volley ball court
space or the parking lot area near them towards Hopyard would be an option. This could potentially server both needs.
Sincerely,
1
