My neighbors and I enjoy walking to and through the Community Park on
Paseo Santa Cruz. I would like to request that the tennis courts that are pending construction be placed in a different
location, not on the lawn and shaded areas that are currently fenced off. That section is used and enjoyed by our
community, allowing kids to run and play, families and friends to picnic and enjoy the outdoors.
I'd like to suggest that the courts be built away from the homes on Paseo Santa Cruz as those neighbors will be
subjected to the sounds of people playing tennis plus night floodlights. Perhaps these courts could be placed closer to
the arroyo away from homes. I'm sure walking paths can be placed around them.
Unfortunately I cannot attend tomorrow night's meeting due to previously made plans that cannot be
changed. Otherwise I most definitely would have attended to voice my concerns and suggestions. I appreciate your
holding the special meeting.
1
