Oppose any legislation that preempts local authority. <br /> Protect Local Control and <br /> Fiscal Sustainability 2. Oppose any new program mandates that are <br /> unfunded and/or partially funded. <br /> 1. Support efforts to secure funding for Route 84. <br /> 2. Support BART to ACE. <br /> Sustainable Development, <br /> Pleasanton's Infrastructure and 3. Support efforts to secure additional financial assistance <br /> Foster Economic Prosperity and new local financing tools to address critical <br /> transportation needs as related to new infrastructure <br /> and maintenance of existing infrastructure(streets, <br /> bridges, active transportation and transit). <br /> 1. Support efforts to secure funding for regional recycled <br /> water project. <br /> Sustainable Development and <br /> Pleasanton's Infrastructure 2. Support efforts to secure funding addressing water supply, <br /> sewer,storm water, flood control, development of new <br /> infrastructure and maintenance of existing infrastructure. <br /> Support an update to the local government tax structure to <br /> respond to the new economy and stimulate economic growth. <br /> Consistent with existing constitutional protections for property <br /> Fiscal Sustainability and Foster sales and local taxes, develop and enact reforms to the local <br /> Economic Prosperity government tax structure to respond to the growth in e- <br /> commerce, the shift from the consumption of goods to the <br /> consumption of services,changing patterns of commerce and <br /> innovations in technology,while preserving existing <br /> constitutional protections for programs,sales tax, and other taxes. <br /> 1. Support Alameda County funding to implement Coordinated <br /> Sustainable Development and Entry for Homeless. <br /> Fiscal Sustainability 2.
