Design Clarification — CONSULTANT will coordinate design clarifications <br /> with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. and CITY as appropriate. <br /> CONSULTANT shall maintain a log to track processing of design <br /> clarifications. <br /> 3. CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING <br /> CONSULTANT will review staking requests submitted by Contractors' and <br /> coordinate staking with CITY'S construction staking firm. <br /> 4. INSPECTION AND TESTING <br /> CONSULTANT shall: <br /> a. Provide construction inspection in accordance with Caltrans and CITY <br /> procedures for all project items. <br /> b. Coordinate the activities of testing laboratories, surveyors and inspectors, <br /> representatives from utility companies and the administration of all project <br /> permits and utility relocations. Quality assurance testing will be by CITY'S <br /> materials testing firm. <br /> c. Coordinate with local residents, proprietors, and land owners to minimize <br /> impact of construction on said parties. <br /> d. Coordinate with Caltrans and other outside agencies as appropriate <br /> e. Act as single point of contact for project inquiries and coordinate press <br /> releases as appropriate <br /> f. Review and coordinate with designer of record, affected business, and <br /> City of Pleasanton contractor's proposed detours and lane closures. <br /> g. Enforce labor regulations as included in contract specifications. <br /> h. Maintain an up-to-date set of plans and specifications at the job site. <br /> i. Review all certificates of inspections and tests. <br /> j.
