Exhibit B (cont.) <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> Hansen Park Light Pole Replacement <br /> 1.01 Areas <br /> Project is to provide twenty-two (22) light pole replacements at Hansen Park. <br /> The light pole locations are described in the attached Map appendix. <br /> 2-01 Pole Replacement <br /> A. Task 1: Supervision and Management. Provide on-site supervision of crew and management <br /> of site. Respond to questions, and resolve problems as they arise. <br /> B. Task 2: Updates. On a schedule to be determined by the Parks Superintendent or her or his <br /> designee (all references hereafter to the Parks Superintendent shall include her or his designee), <br /> provide updates on all progress, delays and future activities to the Parks Superintendent. <br /> C. Task 3: Light Pole Replacement. Remove 22 poles concrete pads and pole footings, modify <br /> existing electrical system, pour new concrete pads and footings, load, transport and install light <br /> poles in Hansen Park. All work is to be performed between the hours of 8:OOam-5:OOpm, <br /> Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. <br /> Standards of general practice <br /> 1. Contractor is expected to understand and utilize all materials and methods standard to industry <br /> and <br /> conforming to the UBC, the CEC, and any related code amendments or enhancements specific to <br /> the City of Pleasanton. <br /> 2. Verify existing electrical field conditions: Reference Appendix 2. <br /> a. Voltage. <br /> b. Circuit distribution. <br /> c. Feeder pathways and distances. <br /> d. Lighting controls. <br /> e.Note other park power or circuitry for items not within this scope that occupy the underground <br /> raceways for the light pole replacement scope. <br /> 3. Electrical contractor is expected to report inconsistencies between specified installations and actual <br /> conditions to the City project representative for mitigation resolve prior to execution. <br /> Demolition <br /> 1. Safe off lighting control operation. Lock off lighting feed breakers or remove wiring. <br /> 2. Remove feed wiring from control pedestal to light pole base Christy box locations.Note and report to <br /> City project representative any affected circuitry unrelated to this scope,occupying these conduits: <br /> a. Swab underground raceways to verify clear path for re-pull. <br />
