Pleasanton Fire Station 2/3 Proposal <br /> January 25, 2016 <br /> Page 2 <br /> We are proposing to offer the following scope of services: <br /> FIELD INVESTIGATION / NEEDS ASSESSMENT PHASE <br /> • Field investigation of Station 2 including as-built measurements to create <br /> accurate as-built drawings. <br /> • Station 2 analysis of existing structural, mechanical and electrical systems <br /> throughout the building/site <br /> Station 2 analysis of existing building finishes and other architectural <br /> elements <br /> = Survey the existing Station 2 site for ADA compliance issues. No ADA <br /> survey of the interior of the station is proposed due to the majority being <br /> modified and remodeled <br /> a Survey Station 3 structural issues to determine if they can be repaired in a <br /> cost effective manner. <br /> • Analyze Station 3 mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems to <br /> determine if repairs can be accomplished in a cost effective manner. <br /> • Survey both sites for exterior civil and landscape issues including storm <br /> drainage, potential modifications to traffic patterns and review of all <br /> hardscape components. <br /> • Survey both sites for asbestos, lead, electrical PCB's and mercury. <br /> • Meet with Project Team to discuss budget, program and design issues. <br /> This meeting will include meeting with a small Fire Department Design <br /> Committee to gather input for required modifications. Modifications will <br /> include analysis of all existing operations, gender issues, accessibility <br /> issues and potential future changes in department operations. <br /> • Meet with City Building Department to review all requirements including <br /> accessibility requirements and approval process. <br /> ▪ Develop Preliminary Building Floor Plans to determine overall modified <br /> space requirements.
