• MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING is made and entered into this 26th day of June, 1974, by and between the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton, acting as Employer Representative of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, (hereinafter referred to as "City") , and the Pleasanton City Employees Associa- tion, acting by and through its President Marion A. Brooks (hereinafter re- ferred to as "Association") . W I T N E S S E T H• WHEREAS, Pleasanton City Employees Association is a recognized employee organization representing certain employees employed by the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, City and Association have heretofore instructed their respective representatives to meet and confer consistent with the provisions of Section 3500, et seq, of the Government Code in order to promote full communication and, to the extent possible, understanding and agreement between Council and Employees regarding wages, .hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of Association; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the parties hereto that this Memorandum • of Understanding supplement Resolution No. 7.41- 140 which establishes salaries for classified and unclassified employees of the City of Pleasanton for the year 1974-75 and the City of Pleasanton Personnel Rules and Regula- tions; and WHEREAS, it is further the parties intention that this Memorandum of Understanding, in the event of any conflict between such and the aforesaid Resolution and Personnel Rules and Regulations, shall prevail. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: I. TERM. The term of this agreement shall commence on July 1, 1974, and terminate June 30, 1975. II. BENEFITS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1974-75.. During the tern of this agreement- Fiscal Year 1974-75, and commencing on July 1, 1974, all employees represented by Association shall be entitled to the benefits set for.:h herein as follows: EXHIBIT A
