Task 7.2—HDD Testing <br /> RMC will support the Resident Engineer and City staff in coordinating and reviewing plans and <br /> results from HDD pipeline testing and flushing required for acceptance of the construction <br /> project. <br /> Task 7.3—Flow Control Station Testing <br /> RMC will support the Resident Engineer and City staff in coordinating and reviewing plans and <br /> results from FCS startup and testing required for acceptance of the construction project. <br /> Task 8—Cathodic Protection System Inspection and Check Out <br /> RMC's corrosion sub consultant will provide guidance and staff training for inspection of inspect <br /> cathodic protection devices to be installed along the recycled water pipeline during construction. <br /> Task 8.1 —Cathodic Protection Component Installation Support <br /> Provide up to two half day field training sessions for City inspection staff on installation <br /> inspection during construction to ensure that the specified systems are installed correctly. <br /> Provide up to eight half day site visits during installation of cathodic protection components to <br /> verify <br /> Task 8.2—System Checkout <br /> Perform a system checkout at the Flow Control Stations and prepare a checkout report that <br /> contains the base line potentials for the metallic portions of the subject buried recycled water <br /> main and its associated fittings (i.e. "On" and "Off' potential measurements at all test stations <br /> and accessible metallic appurtenances). Provide a letter following the final system checkout <br /> certifying that the subject corrosion control systems have been installed in accordance with <br /> NACE and the Contract Documents. This letter will be signed and stamped by a licensed <br /> Corrosion Engineer. <br /> Task 8.3—Prepare Baseline Report and O&M Manual <br /> Provide an Operation and Maintenance Manual for the completed cathodic protection system at <br /> the Flow Control Stations and training the City of Pleasanton Water Department, DSRSD and <br /> City of Livermore personnel in the operation and maintenance of the system. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • System Checkout certification letter for the Project(.pdf file via email) <br /> • Operation and Maintenance Manual (.pdf file via email) <br /> Task 9—Contaminated Soil and Groundwater Support <br /> RMC and its sub consultant shall provide support to the City in the event of discovery of <br /> suspected contaminated soil and groundwater as a result of construction activity. Support <br /> activities shall include verifying compliance with construction contractor's Excavated Materials <br /> Management Plan (review of this submittal is included in Task 3).
