Kimley-Horn will also prepare estimates of probable construction costs for <br /> the project. <br /> We assume 418 hours of effort for this sub-task to develop the 100% PS&E submittal, and <br /> include preparation of the plans, specifications and OPCC. Plans will include vertical design of <br /> proposed features and surfaces. Profiles will be included for features, as needed, to adequately <br /> demonstrate the proposed design for review and construction. <br /> We assume all right-of-way services, including obtaining permissions to enter private properties <br /> (RTE) and temporary construction easements (TCE) will be the responsibility of the City and are <br /> not included in this scope of services. Should the City request Kimley-Hom provide these or other <br /> right of way services, they can be provided as additional service. <br /> We assume the City will be responsible for obtaining all permits or permissions necessary for <br /> construction of proposed features under the jurisdiction of other agencies (railroad, Alameda <br /> County, RWQCB, etc.). <br /> As stated in the email sent from the City to Kimley-Hom on January 28, 2014, the City interprets <br /> the Alameda County Clean Water Program C.3 requirements as they apply to the Stanley <br /> Boulevard reconstruction as stated below: <br /> • C.3 does not apply to the reconstructed road as long as the new roadway area when <br /> compared to the old roadway area is under the 10,000 square feet of new impervious <br /> area. <br /> • The sidewalks can be made to drain to a vegetated area; therefore they can be excluded <br /> under section C3.b.ii.4.d and will not require anything more than draining to a vegetated <br /> area. <br /> Kimley-Hom assumes the proposed design will collect roadway storm water runoff in the new <br /> curb and gutter and collect them in new storm drain curb inlets. <br /> Also as directed by the City, the proposed sidewalk on the south side of Stanley Boulevard <br /> between Station 21+50 to 26+50(property addresses 3970, 3950, 3900, and 3988 Stanley) is to <br /> be sloped away from the roadway towards the existing vegetated areas within the public right-of- <br /> way between the mad and the private properties. <br /> Kimley-Hom will not conduct any storm drain system analysis, storm water analysis or prepare <br /> any reports documenting the storm water design, assumptions or requirements that are met with <br /> the proposed design. <br /> Based on one set of non-conflicting City comments and the comment meeting, Kimley-Horn will <br /> advance the construction documents to a Final level of design, and will update the OPCC to <br /> reflect the 100%design comments.
