EXHIBIT A <br /> system. <br /> 3.02 CERTIFICATION OF THE BASE INSTALLATION <br /> A. THE BASE AND DRAINAGE, The Contractor is responsible for the review and <br /> acceptance of the base and drainage. <br /> B. Upon completion of the base, this contractor will submit in written form the <br /> acceptance of the base noting any deficiencies. <br /> 3.03 DELIVERY AND INSPECTION OF MATERIALS <br /> A. Prior to the installation of any materials and immediately upon delivery of the <br /> synthetic turf system and components to the project site, the Contractor shall <br /> inspect materials as follows: <br /> 1. For damaged or defective items <br /> 2. Measure turf pile height and roll lengths <br /> 3. Inspect the perforations and uniformity <br /> 4. Adhesives shall arrive in sealed dry containers. <br /> 5. Rubber in-fill shall arrive in large sacks or bags without tears and loose material <br /> about. <br /> 6. Rubber in-fill shall arrive dry and loose. No Rubber shall be accepted that is bulked <br /> or solid. <br /> 3.04 CITY OF PLEASANTON TESTING <br /> A. The City of Pleasanton reserves the right to submit any material, either before or <br /> after installation to any testing it deems necessary to satisfy the conditions of this <br /> contract. <br /> B. Any material tested and found not in compliance with the contract will be rejected <br /> and replaced with material conforming to the specifications. This will be done at <br /> the sole expense of the contractor. <br /> C. Any testing performed by the City of Pleasanton will be at the City of <br /> Pleasanton's expense. The contractor is responsible for the cost of all testing the <br /> fails. <br /> 3.05 TURF INSTALLATION <br /> A. After acceptance of the base materials, any turf material with less than the 20 oz. <br /> secondary backing shall have a the 6 oz. non-woven geotextile membrane is <br /> installed under each area of the panel, the synthetic turf is staged and unrolled <br /> as necessary for a daily installation. No material will be allowed to be unrolled 24 <br />
