<br /> DESCRIPTION OF TERRITORY TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
<br /> ANNEXATION NO. 52
<br /> DUBLIN AREA ANNEX
<br /> All that certain real property situated in the Township of Pleasanton,
<br /> County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows:
<br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the general westerly line of Plot "V",
<br /> as said plot is delineated and so designated upon that certain map entitled, "MAP
<br /> OF THE PROPERTY OF THE ESTATE OF ELIZABETH A. DOUGHERTY" etc., a copy of which was
<br /> filed May 11, 1891, in Map Book 8 at page 75, Records of Alameda County, California,
<br /> with the boundary line dividing Alameda County from Contra Costa County, as said
<br /> boundary line was established by a joint retracement survey and monumentation of a
<br /> portion of the boundary line between Alameda and Contra Costa Counties 1960,
<br /> approved by the Board of Supervisors of Alameda County under Resolution No. 99517,
<br /> adopted February 27, 1962, and filed in Reel 1 of Minutes, Image 966, and running
<br /> thence in a general northeasterly direction along said boundary line to an inter-
<br /> section thereof with the westerly right-of-way line of County Road No. 4038,
<br /> commonly known as Dougherty Road, 50 feet in width, as said westerly right-of-way
<br /> line was located, described and established by that certain Amended Judgment en-
<br /> titled, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, v. 3396 acres of land, Alameda and
<br /> Contra Costa Counties," et al, Defendants, IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE UNITED
<br /> STATES IN AND FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA SOUTHERN DIVISION, Civil No.
<br /> 22352-R, a certified copy of which was recorded June 8, 1945, in Book 4721 of
<br /> Official Records at page 14 (SS 36105) , Records of Alameda County, California;
<br /> thence in a general southerly direction along said westerly right-of-way line and
<br /> along that portion of the westerly right-of-way line of said County Road No. 4038
<br /> which was unaffected by said Amended Judgment to an intersection thereof with the
<br /> general northeasterly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Company, as said
<br /> right-of-way was conveyed by C. M. Dougherty and Ida T. Dougherty, his wife, to
<br /> the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation organized and consolidated
<br /> under the laws of the State of California and the Territories of Arizona and New
<br /> Mexico, by deed recorded January 16, 1907 in Book 1326 of Deeds at page 9 (1.47181) ,
<br /> Records of Alameda County, California; thence southeasterly, southwesterly and south-
<br /> easterly along said general northeasterly right-of-way line to an intersection
<br /> thereof with the northeasterly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Company as
<br /> said right-of-way was conveyed by Ada D. Clement and Jabish Clement, her husband,
<br /> to the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation organized and consolidated
