~4-1.08 New Materials, Processes or Occupancies Which May <br /> Require Permits. The City Manager, the Fire Chief and the <br /> Fire Prevention Officer shall act as a committee to determine <br /> and specify, after giving affected persons an opportunity to <br /> be heard, any new materials, processes or occupancies, which <br /> shall require permits, in addition to those now enumerated <br /> in said Code. The Fire Prevention Officer shall post such <br /> list in a conspicuous place in his office, and distribute <br /> copies thereof to interested persons. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Article 1 (Adoption of National Electrical Code) of Chapter <br /> 6 (Electrical Code) Title II (Zoning) of the Ordinance Code of <br /> the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended in its entirety to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> Article 1 <br /> <br /> Adoption of National Electrical Code <br /> of 1978 with Additions and Modifications <br /> <br /> S2-14.03 Adoption of Electrical Code. There is hereby adopted <br /> by reference by the City of Pleasanton that certain code known <br /> as the National Electrical Code of 1978, more particularly <br /> described below, except such portions as are hereinafter <br /> amended, modified or deleted, and the same is hereby adopted <br /> and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. <br /> Said Electrical Code is the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE of 1978 <br /> published by the National Fire Protection Association, three <br /> (3) certified copies of which are on file with the City Clerk. <br /> M2-14.04 Amendments, Modifications, Additions to any Deletions <br /> from the Adopted Codes. The Adopted Codes are hereby changed <br /> in the following respects: <br /> <br /> a. Amendments or Modifications. <br /> <br /> 1. Where any conflict occurs between the National <br /> Electrical Code and this Chapter, this chapter <br /> shall take precedence. <br /> <br /> b. Additions. <br /> "Article 91 - Administrative Regulations." <br /> 91-1 SCOPE. <br /> <br /> a. Prohibited Acts. No person shall construct, <br /> install, renew, alter, use or maintain any <br /> electrical wiring, devices, appliances or <br />- equipment except as provided by this chapter. <br /> <br /> III <br /> <br /> <br />
