b. Moved Buildings. All electrical work existing <br /> in buildings moved into or within the incorpor- <br /> ated area of the City after the effective date <br /> of this chapter shall comply with the requirements <br /> of this chapter. <br /> <br /> c. Existing Construction. Except for existing <br /> electrical work in buildings moved into or within <br /> the City, nothing contained in this chapter shall <br /> be construed to require any construction or work <br /> regulated by this chapter to be altered, changed, <br /> reconstructed, removed or demolished if such <br /> construction or work was installed prior to the <br /> effective date of Ordinance No. 477, March 21, 1967, <br /> and in accordance at the time of its installation, <br /> except when any such construction or work regulated <br /> by this chapter is dangerous, unsafe or a menace to <br /> life, health or property in the judgment of the Chief <br /> Building Inspector of the City of Pleasanton, or <br /> his duly appointed representative, based on his <br /> knowledge and expertise and the current provisions <br /> of the National Electrical Code. <br /> <br /> 91-2 ENFORCEMENT. <br /> <br /> a. Right of Entry. Upon presentation of proper <br /> credentials, the Chief Building Inspector, or his <br /> duly appointed representative, may enter any build- <br /> ing or structure or premises in order to perform <br /> any duty imposed by this chapter. <br /> <br /> b. Notice to stop Work. Whenever any work is being <br /> done contrary to any law or ordinance enforced by <br /> the Chief Building Inspector or his duly appointed <br /> representative, he shall issue a notice to the <br /> responsible person to stop work on that portion of <br /> the work on which the violation has occurred. The <br /> notice shall state the nature of the violation and <br /> has been rectified and approval obtained from the <br /> Chief Building Inspector, or his duly appointed <br /> representative. <br /> <br /> c. Right to Disconnect. The Chief Building Inspector <br /> or his duly appointed representative is hereby <br /> authorized to disconnect or order discontinuance <br /> of electric service to any electrical wiring devices, <br /> appliances or equipment found to be in violation of <br /> this chapter under any of the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1.
