S4-1.04 Establishment of Limits in Which Bulk Storage of <br /> Liquefied Petroleum Gases is to be Restricted. The limits <br /> referred to in Section 82,105 (a), of the Uniform Fire Code, <br /> in which bulk storage of liquefied petroleum gas is restricted <br /> are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br /> All zoning Districts except I-G (General Industrial) <br /> District. <br /> <br />~4-1.05 Establishment of Limits of Districts in Which Storage of <br /> Explosives and Blasting Agents is to be Prohibited. The <br /> limits referred to in Section 77.106 (b) of the Uniform Fire <br /> Code, in which storage of explosives and blasting agents is <br /> prohibited, are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br /> All zoning districts. <br /> <br />~4-1.06 Amendments Made in the Uniform Fire Code. The Uniform <br /> Fire Code is amended and changed in the following respects: <br /> <br /> Section 2.302 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> In order to determine the suitability of alternative <br /> materials and type of construction and to provide for <br /> the reasonable interpretations of the provisions of <br /> this Code, there is hereby established a Board of Appeals, -- <br /> the members of which shall be the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton. The City Manager shall be an ex officio <br /> member and shall act as Secretary to the Board. The City <br /> Manager shall call all meetings of the Board. <br /> <br />S4-1.07 Appeals. <br /> <br /> Whenever the Fire Chief, or his duly authorized representa- <br /> tive, shall disapprove an application or refuse to grant a <br /> permit applied for, or when it is claimed that the provisions <br /> of the Code of this chapter do not apply or that the true <br /> intent or meaning of the Code have been misconstrued or <br /> wrongly interpreted, or there is a dispute as to the suit- <br /> ability of alternate materials and types of construction, <br /> then the applicant may appeal from the decision of the Fire <br /> Chief to the City Council of the City of Pleasanton sitting <br /> as the Board of Appeals within thirty (30) days from the date <br /> of the decision appealed. Such appeal shall be in writing <br /> and the City Council shall within thirty (30) days of the <br /> receipt of the appeal and by written notice to the applicant <br /> either uphold, reverse or modify the decision of the Fire <br /> Chief. <br /> <br /> <br />
