City of Pleasanton <br /> Phase 1A Recycled Water Distribution System Design Final Draft <br /> construction documents. A final list of the bid items and quantities and a final construction cost estimate <br /> shall be provided. <br /> Consultant shall provide one full size and one half size .pdf file of the bid set drawings and a compiled <br /> .pdf file of the specifications. The City will be responsible for the production and distribution of the final <br /> signed and stamped plans and specifications for bidding purposes. <br /> Subtask 5.6 Deliverables: <br /> • Stamped and signed final Plans and Specifications (one hardcopy of specifications and half-size <br /> drawings and one .pdf each of half- and full size drawings and specifications for reproduction of <br /> bid sets by City) <br /> • Final construction cost estimate <br /> TASK 6: PERMITTING <br /> Consultant shall define permit requirements, coordinate with permitting agencies, prepare supporting <br /> technical information, and fill in necessary application information. The City is responsible for <br /> reviewing, signing, and submitting the necessary permit applications to the appropriate agencies as <br /> identified in the table below. Acquiring additional permits, other than the permits identified in the <br /> following table,will be considered additional services. <br /> Agency Name Permits or Special Topics <br /> Zone 7 Construction across creeks/flood control channels <br /> - Encroachment Permit <br /> California Department of Fish and Wildlife Stream Alteration Agreement <br /> City of Pleasanton Encroachment and Excavation Permit <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board NPDES Permit for construction dewatering <br /> activities <br /> Bay Area Air Quality Management District Permit to construct <br /> Consultant understands the importance of meeting the Project schedule and will support the City to obtain <br /> the required permits in a timely manner for the Project, using the appropriate approach including: <br /> • Communicate and work with outside agencies with regard to this Project early on, foster their <br /> continued involvement throughout the Project, provide update letters to the agencies describing <br /> Project elements, areas of concern as it relates to their agency, Project schedule, and contact <br /> names. <br /> • Provide copies of submittals to the appropriate agency, as well as incorporate or document all <br /> comments received. <br /> • Prepare for, attend and coordinate up to two meetings with each permitting agency to discuss the <br /> project and design details. <br /> • Ensure that permit requirements are considered in the Project design and incorporated into the <br /> contract documents. <br /> Task 6 Assumptions: <br /> • The City shall provide all previously developed environmental information to the Consultant for <br /> use in preparing the permit applications; <br /> • Consultant and the City shall attend up to two meetings with each agency identified above related <br /> to permit development <br /> Scope of Work RevS Page 13 of 17 <br /> August 20,2014 <br />
