City of Pleasanton <br /> Phase 1A Recycled Water Distribution System Design Final Draft <br /> Task 5.4 Deliverables: <br /> • Six (6) hardcopies(half size plans)and.pdf file via email link of 50%Design submittal package, <br /> including drawings,specifications and construction cost estimate <br /> • Meeting agenda and summary from the 50% Submittal review workshop including a log of <br /> comments,responses and follow up actions <br /> Subtask 5.5: 95% PS&E <br /> The 95% design activities for the Project will advance the design documents to a point ready for <br /> competitive bidding and construction. Consultant shall organize a single PS&E package into up to four <br /> bid schedules. Consultant shall continue to coordinate Project design issues with interested agencies and <br /> utility companies, and coordinate with agencies on behalf of the City for the encroachment and other <br /> permits. Consultant shall fully develop and finalize the design details for the construction documents. <br /> Consultant shall develop and submit a complete set of all drawings and specifications showing in detail <br /> and meeting the standards of the City as appropriate. For construction purposes, the scope, details, and <br /> measurements of the work to be performed by the contractor will show engineering and design details for <br /> the construction of the Project. The specifications will also include items necessary to correctly define the <br /> construction work to be performed. Consultant shall also include, as part of the specifications, signed <br /> permits described in Task 6. <br /> Consultant shall prepare a draft bid schedule for the bid package. <br /> Consultant shall assist the City in fostering a group of potential bidders for the project, including <br /> providing summary information on the scope and schedule for the work. <br /> Consultant shall provide an engineer's estimate of construction costs consistent with a Class 2 estimate <br /> per AACE 18R-97. Consultant shall update the construction schedule. <br /> Consultant shall prepare for and conduct a 95% Submittal review workshop with the City to review the <br /> submittal package,resolve outstanding technical issues and address City comments on the 95%submittal. <br /> Task 5.5 Assumptions: <br /> • City acknowledges that Consultant will continue developing the design documents during its <br /> review in order to achieve the design completion milestone. <br /> • 95% design package will be based on the 50% Submittal and will address City comments from <br /> the 50%Design workshop <br /> • Drawing and specification format will be as described under Subtask 5.3. <br /> • Trenchless design for the Arroyo Mocho crossing not included. <br /> • Controls and SCADA design are not included. <br /> • Up to two (2) bid packages will be prepared for advertisement. Multiple bid schedules (up to <br /> four)could be included in the bid packages. <br /> • City's CM will review documents and assist in development of a bid schedule for the project. <br /> Subtask 5.5 Deliverables: <br /> • Six(6)hardcopies(half size drawings)of 95%PS&E package <br /> • Meeting agenda and summary from the 95% Submittal review workshop including a log of <br /> comments,responses and follow up actions <br /> Subtask 5.6: Final Bid Document Preparation <br /> Consultant shall prepare the final construction documents for bidding incorporating the agreed upon 95% <br /> submittal comments into the final documents and finalizing the plans and specifications.
