City of Pleasanton <br /> Phase 1A Recycled Water Distribution System Design Final Draft <br /> • RMC will get early direction from the RWQCB on the appropriate recycled water use order for <br /> preparation of the project Engineer's Report. <br /> Task 4 Deliverables: <br /> • 6 copies of Draft Title 22 Engineers Report and.pdf file via email <br /> • 6 copies of Final Title 22 Engineers Report and.pdf file via email <br /> TASK 5: CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br /> Consultant shall prepare contract documents suitable for bidding and construction of all Phase IA <br /> pipelines, including the pipeline in Owens Drive to Oracle and the 30-inch pipeline in Santa Rita Road <br /> from W. Las Positas Boulevard to south of Interstate 580, along with pipeline connections (up to three) <br /> and installation (up to 50 If) along the existing Clean Water Revival pipeline to allow for a connection to <br /> the City of Livermore recycled water system and the Tassajara Reservoir. Work will be performed under <br /> the following subtasks. <br /> Subtask 5.1: Conduct Weekly Design Coordination and Progress Meetings <br /> Consultant shall conduct weekly design coordination and progress meetings with the City's Project <br /> Manager to evaluate progress, identify and resolve issues, make decisions necessary for advancing the <br /> design and tracking previous action progress. Consultant shall include the three design leads in the <br /> meeting discussions or obtain their input prior to the meeting. The meetings will include discussion of <br /> upcoming work for the week and three week look-ahead, along with accompanying milestones. <br /> Consultant shall maintain a log of meeting discussions and required actions for tracking progress. <br /> Subtask 5.1 Assumptions" <br /> • Up to 18 weekly coordination meetings will be convened <br /> • Meetings will be by phone or face to face at Consultant's office or City offices(up to 6) <br /> Subtask 5.1 Deliverables" <br /> • Meeting agenda and materials <br /> • Meetings summaries with action items via email <br /> • Weekly updates to the decisions and actions log with status(.pdf file via email) <br /> Subtask 5.2: Evaluate Arroyo Mocho Crossing Alternatives <br /> Consultant shall develop and evaluate two alternatives for the Phase IA crossing of the Arroyo Mocho to <br /> the Sports Park. The first alternative is the Feasibility Study alternative that would consist of installing <br /> the recycled water pipeline using the existing Hopyard Road bridge structure to support the pipeline. The <br /> second alternative would consist of a trenchiess crossing beneath the Arroyo Mocho at Hacienda Drive. <br /> Consultant will evaluate each alternative under several criteria,including: <br /> • Cost <br /> • Schedule considerations/time for construction <br /> • Risk to achieving the June 21,2015 delivery of recycled water to Sports Park <br /> • Environmental considerations <br /> • Permitting considerations <br /> • Community disruption <br /> • Easement and right-of-way considerations <br /> Consultant shall prepare a brief technical memorandum summarizing the alternatives, evaluation and <br /> results, including a recommendation for the preferred engineering alternative. <br /> Scope of Work Rev5 Page 8 of 17 <br /> August 20,2014 <br />
