ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. XXX <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PREANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> AND REQUEST FOR SEWER AND WATER CONNECTIONS <br /> FOR 6723 ALISAL STREET (THOMAS AND ALEJANDRA HALL) <br /> WHEREAS, at the meeting of August 19, 2014, the City Council received the staff <br /> report (insert report no.) from the Director of Community Development <br /> regarding the request from Thomas and Alejandra Hall for sewer and <br /> water connections for their residence at 6723 Alisal Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Government Code Section 56133 requires a city which wishes to <br /> provide utility service beyond it jurisdictional boundary to obtain approval <br /> from the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: The City Council approves the request for sewer and water connections to <br /> the residence at 6723 Alisal Street and authorizes execution of the <br /> Preannexation Agreement with Thomas and Alejandra Hall. <br /> Section 2: The City Council directs staff to file an application with LAFCo for its <br /> consideration. <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING <br /> HELD ON AUGUST 19, 2014 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers — <br /> NOES: <br /> ABSENT: <br /> ABSTAIN: <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPOVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan Lowell, City Attorney <br />
