The effort associated with the incorporation of the cited comments received after the encroachment permit,preparation of an amendment or CCO,and processing for an encroachment permit rider is estimated at $16,500. A re-analysis of the traffic operations of the signal at the Bema1/1-680 SB off-ramp was prepared by Hexagon Consultants dated February ENGINEERS 14, 2014. This extra work by Hexagon was performed outside this contract and the cost of this SURVEYORS work is not included in this contract amendment. PLANNERS The City performed a review of the bid set and issued verbal comments on February 18, 2014 relating to storm water treatment. This required additional coordination and conference call to discuss and resolve and is estimated at $1,500. It is not currently known if revisions to contract documents are required, so are excluded from this scope of work and are considered extra work. Construction Staking At the-City's request, BKF has prepared a construction staking scope for the Project. For the construction staking scope,BKF offers the following services: Demo/Sawcut Staking BKF will provide one set of stakes to be used for demolition and saw-cutting. These stakes will be set at a predetermined offset along the edge of the demolition/saw-cut lines. The accuracy of the stakes will be to the nearest tenth of a foot. The demo stakes will be provided in accordance with the stages identified in the project plans. Estimated cost of demo/sawcut staking is.$1,800. Rough Grade Staking BKF will provide one set of stakes to be used for rough grading of the roadway. These stakes will be set at a predetermined offset to the face of curb and located in a manner to allow grading of the high and low points. The accuracy of the stakes will be to the nearest tenth of a foot and are intended to be used for rough grading of these areas. In addition, all stakes will be marked with cut/fill information to the top of curb or finish grade: BKF has budgeted three (3) mobilizations to complete this staking task. Estimated cost of rough grade staking is $6,400. Finish Grade Staking BKF will be provided at a predetermined offset to the face of curb to be used for final grading and construction of the curbs, barriers, ADA ramps, gutters and walks. These stakes will be set at approximate 50-foot intervals along tangents and at approximate 25- foot intervals through curves. In addition, stakes will be set at all islands, bio-retention planters,raised islands, grade breaks,radius points and angle points. Information on each stake will include the elevation of each point and cut/fill information to the top of curb.
