Electroliers,and Traffic Signals Staking BKF will provide stakes for the installation of the main storm drain,inlets, electroliers, traffic signals and poles as shown on the civil plans. These stakes will be placed at ENGINEERS approximately 50-foot intervals and will include cut information to the invert of the storm SURVEYORS drain. Stakes will also include cut/fill information to the rim of the storm drain manholes and top of curb grades at the inlets. BKF has budgeted three (3) mobilizations to PLANNERS complete this staking task Estimated cost of storm drainage, electroliers, and traffic signal staking is$3;400. BKF can perform the construction staking work described above at an estimated cost of $19,800. The estimated fee is for one set of stakes with the corresponding cut sheets and daily logs. Stakes requested and subsequently lost will be considered as re-staking if asked to be replaced. Additional mobilizations if requested will also be considered extra work. Construction staking will be performed in accordance with Caltrans Construction Survey Manual dated November 2012 or as mutually agreed upon with Contractor. Construction Staking Exclusions The following items are specifically excluded from this proposal. If sufficient time is given, fees for these items will be provided prior to start of services. I. Project meetings. 2. Topography checks and calculations of quantities for site balance or removals. 3. Any Re-staking or extra staking,beyond the scope listed above.. 4. Prints&Reimbursable expenses will be billed at cost plus 10%,and are not a part of this agreement.. 5. Any checking of forms prior to concrete pours.. 6. Any as-builts of the site improvements. If re-staling or additional services are required after the Surveyor has set the proposed stakes as indicated in the proposal,the client will assume the cost of said re-staking. Service designated as extra will be billed at Surveyors hourly rates per the prevailing BKF Engineers rate schedule attached. It is understood whenever the Contractor on the job needs survey staking services done,they will make an attempt to schedule such services in 4-hour increments per scope item in order to reduce unnecessary travel time.
