PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project proposal consists of the demolition of the four buildings on the subject site and the construction of an approximately 83,300-square-foot showroom and service facility (inclusive of an approximately 3,250-square-foot car wash, trash enclosure, and storage area) for Lexus of Pleasanton. A canopy for detailing is proposed near the south-eastern corner of the site. The two driveways on Rosewood Drive would remain as they currently exist. The landscaping plan in Figure 2 shows the footprint of the proposed sales and service building and car wash. Hendrick Automotive Group plans to operate the Lexus dealership at the subject site during construction by phasing demolition. The first phase will consist of the demolition of the Infiniti and Volvo buildings and construction of the service area in the new building, the roof-top parking, and car wash facility, which allows operations to continue in the current Lexus facility. The second phase will consist of the demolition of the existing Lexus sales and service building and construction of the new showroom and sales area of the building. The Acura dealership is not part of the project. The project characteristics are outlined below Figure 2.
