BACKGROUND Hendrick Automotive Group proposes demolition of the four buildings on the subject site and construction of an approximately 83,300-square-foot automobile showroom and service facility for Lexus of Pleasanton. This project was reviewed by the Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on April 23, 2014. For a detailed description of the project presented at this meeting, please see the attached Planning Commission staff report (Attachment 4). The project is now before the Council for final decision. I SITE DESCRIPTION The subject site is located at 4335-4345 Rosewood Drive, and is currently developed with four buildings, consisting of the Lexus, Infiniti, and Volvo showrooms and service facilities (although both Infiniti and Volvo are no longer in operation). The remainder of the site consists of inventory and customer parking.
