Task 7.3: Stakeholder Consultations <br /> PMC will conduct individual consultations with up to four key stakeholders <br /> to solicit input and identify specific concerns. Consultations will take place <br /> over the phone or in person (if meetings can be arranged in conjunction <br /> with another planned meeting or visit). PMC will work with City staff to <br /> identify these stakeholders. If needed, City staff will conduct consultations <br /> with other stakeholders and community representatives. <br /> Task 7.4: Public Hearings <br /> Prior to Submitting the L)raft to HCI) <br /> Once the draft is complete, PMC recommends presenting the Housing <br /> Element at one Housing Commission, one Planning Commission, and one <br /> City Council hearing for authorization to submit to HCD for the 60-day <br /> review period. PMC assumes attendance at all three hearings. <br /> Adoption Hearings <br /> Once the draft has been submitted and conditionally certified by HCD, <br /> PMC suggests the City hold one Housing Commission and one Planning <br /> Commission public hearing to recommend adoption of the draft, and one <br /> City Council hearing for adoption. PMC assumes attendance at one public <br /> hearing but is able to attend additional hearings at a per-meeting cost of <br /> $750. <br /> Task 7.5: Project Website <br /> PMC will provide all documents in a web-ready format in order for the <br /> City to post on the project website.The goals of the project website are to: <br /> • Educate community members about the Housing Element update <br /> project and process. <br /> • Host a transparent record of each phase of the project and a summary <br /> of community input. <br /> • Provide a place for community members to give feedback at each phase <br /> of the project. <br /> • Provide a summary report of community member comments. <br /> 1-8 .
