Figure 1 is a workflow description of our proposed work <br />plan. The narrative that follows summarizes our work plan. <br />1. Command Staff Interviews <br />The first step in our consolidation analysis process helps create a vision of consolidation. It <br />provides valuable input into the design criteria and success factors associated with consolidating <br />public safety communications centers. To accomplish this, our team will conduct interviews with <br />the command staff of the project stakeholders including: <br />• Chief Law Enforcement Officials from Pleasanton Police Department and the Livermore <br />Police Department <br />• Commanding Officers Responsible for the PSAP <br />The purpose of these interviews will be to gain an understanding of their perspectives on: <br />• The Objectives of Consolidation <br />• Their Expectations of Consolidation <br />• Their Concerns about Consolidation <br />• How Emergency Communications Should be Managed <br />• How the Success of Consolidation Should be Measured <br />• Service Level Objectives for Answering 9 -1 -1 Calls and the Dispatching of Law <br />Enforcement Responders <br />• Consolidation Schedule and Process <br />2 C August 9, 2013 by 2:00 PM 9 <br />
