Ho, P.E. <br /> The City of Pleasanton <br /> August 13, 2013 <br /> Page 9 <br /> Carollo will also submit plans and specifications to affected utilities: companies and <br /> other identified reviewing agencies as required. Carollo will coordinate and <br /> manage all submittals to all project stakeholders and resolve all comments and <br /> conflicts including the City's Building Department plan checks. <br /> Additionally, Carollo will conduct in-house reviews of various submittals and <br /> deliverables before submitting to the City. Before the 100 percent completion <br /> point, the plans and specifications will be checked by an indepencent checking <br /> team. This will include a discipline check, a detailed interdisciplinary coordination <br /> check, and a bid-ability check. With each submittal to the City, an updated <br /> engineer's construction cost estimate will be provided. <br /> 3.3 Record Drawings and Specifications Submittal: After approval of the 100% <br /> submittal by the City, Carollo will submit an original set of stamped and signed <br /> specifications and drawings (22 inch x 34 inch velum). Additionally, a CD will be <br /> provided continued electronic copies of the final specifications, drawings, <br /> engineers construction cost estimate, and appropriate calculation:;. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Draft and Final DCM. <br /> • 50% and 100% plans, specifications, and cost estimates (5 hard copies of <br /> 11" x 17" drawings and specifications). <br /> • One reproducible set of final specifications and one set of final stamped <br /> and signed drawings (22 inch x 34 inch velum). <br /> • One CD containing electronic copies of final drawings, specifications, <br /> engineers construction cost estimate, and appropriate calculations. <br /> 4.0 Bid Period Services <br /> This task is unchanged from the scope submitted April 10, 2012. <br /> 4.1 Bid Period Services: Carollo will provide support to the City durirg <br /> advertisement of the project. Anticipated services include attendance at the pre- <br /> bid meeting, attendance at one scheduled site visit, answering technical questions <br /> from bidders, preparation of addenda, and assistance in review of bids and <br /> recommendation of award. It is assumed City will manage bid period efforts <br /> including advertisement, printing, and distribution of bidding documents, <br /> facilitating pre-bid meeting and site visits (including preparing agenda and <br /> meeting minutes), answering non-technical questions from bidder;., and printing <br /> and distribution of addenda. Since level of effort is unknown at this time, an <br /> allowance for performing task has been included in the proposed budget. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Signed and stamped addenda (one electronic copy in pdf fxmat per <br /> addenda). <br />
