The City of Pleasanton August 13, 2013 Page 10 5.0 Existing EARS Pipeline Condition Evaluation This task is new and includes services to evaluate the EARS pipeline condition, provide an evaluation memorandum, and provide final plans, specifications, and cost estimate for the collection system upgrades. 5.1 Evaluate EARS Pipeline Condition. Under this task, Carollo will evaluate the existing condition of the T-Lock lining of the EARS pipeline in the "hot spot" locations identified by the City. 5.2 Provide EARS Evaluation Summary Table. A summary table will be provided to summarize findings for the EARS pipeline condition evaluation. A listing of material defects and potential rehabilitation requirements for the existing T-Lock lining will be included. Deliverables: • EARS Condition Evaluation Summary Table 5.3 Collection System Final Plans, Specifications, and Cost Estimate: Carollo will prepare the necessary specifications and CAD drawings for the collection system improvements project. The deliverables will be delivered as described in Task 3.2; this work includes: • EARS pipeline repair strategy. • Design of repairs to the EARS pipeline T-lock liner. • Design of a new manhole to connect EATS/EARS pipelines at the intersection of Hopyard and Stoneridge. • Modification of the existing manholes (5) to connect the EATS/EARS pipelines. 6.0 Optional Tasks This task includes optional services to provide air permitting, noise attenuation assistance, and design of a standby diesel generator. 6.1 BAAQMD Permitting: Mizutani Environmental, a subconsultant to Carollo, will provide assistance to City with the preparation of documentation r ecessary for the successful submission of air permit application if a new standby generator is required. Mizutani environmental will also assist the City with responses to comments generated during the review period until the permit is approved. The estimated cost of Optional Task 6.1 is $4,356.
