Services included meetings with City Staff, preparation of construction cost estimates, preparation of an updated color site plan, meeting with the sports groups, site visits, preparing alternative design sketches, evaluating alternatives for cost reductions, conceptual pond engineering, preliminary hydraulic calculations, updating LID calculations, and design team coordination. 6.03 Bernal Drainage Channel Improvements Provide engineering services to redirect flooding from Bernal Drainage Channel around the new park improvements as described in the attached Scope of Services by Bellecci &Associates dated June 4, 2013. Also refer to the attached letter from Bellecci & Associates dated January 23, 2013 for additional background information. 6.04 Utilities Provisions for Future Concession Building Provide natural gas service and stub-out at future Concession building location. 6.05 Single Field Cost Estimate Prepare schematic layout for potential single-field project. Prepare cost estimate based on schematic layout. Prepare "menu" of options with associated costs. 6.06 Revised Architecture Design Program The concession building will be deferred to a future phase. The restroom will be a pre- fabricated structure, to be designed by the vendor with the assistance of the Project Architect. The scope of services for the revised architectural scope is described in the attached document by BSA Architects dated May 31, 2013. 6.07 Alternate Bid Items This task includes identifying alternate bid items on the construction plans, creating separate bid items on the bid form, preparing separate cost estimates, and preparing separate measurement and payment clauses in the specifications.
